What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website places in your browser in order to remember something between pages or between visits.
What cookies this website uses
None for statistics, advertising or tracking. The website has no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel and no other audience measurement tool.
WordPress, the platform the website is built on, sets cookies only when signing in to the administration area. Those concern the staff maintaining the website, not visitors.
The notice bar shown on a first visit uses no cookie: the fact that you closed it is remembered locally, in the browser.
The map on the contact page
The map is hosted by Google. If you display it, the browser connects to Google servers, and Google may set its own cookies and record your IP address.
That is why the map does not load by itself. The contact page has a display button, and until you press it no request goes to Google. Alternatively, the address can be opened directly in Google Maps, in a new tab.
How to delete or block cookies
Every browser allows cookies to be deleted and third-party cookies to be blocked, from its privacy settings. The website works fully with cookies blocked.
